COVENANT DAY CAMP

Covenant Day Camp is a week-long experience for children entering grades K-6th. It is an environment in which children have the opportunity to discover that the Christian Faith is a living relationship with a loving God. Throughout camp children will travel in small groups (known as Tribes) to different stations where they will enjoy hands-on craft activities. Street theater dramas will bring to life the Good News of God's great gift in the person of Jesus Christ. Games will solidify the camp themes through fun and play. Each day will start and end with large group singing.

This year Covenant Day Camp is putting on an all in-house produced experience. Our theme is World’s Best Friend, where campers will learn a new piece of the Gospel story each day, all pointing to Jesus as the greatest friend anyone could ask for according to John 15:13 — “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."

Junior High and High School Students

Junior High Students (going into grades 7-8) and High School Students (going into grades 9-12) are an integral part of putting on Day Camp. Youth participants can expect to grow in their personal relationship with Christ through worship, participating in a Ministry Team that serves the younger campers, enjoying daily devotions, receiving leadership training, and having a blast. Youth Volunteers are also invited to participate in a mid-week team-building trip. This year we are going to the Brownstone Adventure Sports Park in Portland, CT to have a ton of aquatic fun swimming, cliff jumping, zip lining over the lake, and more.

Adult Staff

To make Day Camp work we need adult helpers in many roles both before and during camp. Volunteers are needed to help assist with setup and decorations, lead Tribes, prepare and serve snacks, organize games, and guide crafts, all to the end of helping children experience the joy and love of Jesus. Roles are flexible depending on volunteer availability.

Materials Fee

We charge a minimal fee for campers to offset the cost of materials.
